Mounts: flyer / land mount
"Summon my Epic Land Mount if I am in a non-flyable area, and summon my flier if in a flyable area. It will also summon my ground mount regardless of where I am if I right-click it." If you're mounted, you'll dismount.

/cast [flyable,nomounted] Swift Red Gryphon

One-button pet management
Micromanaging your pet can be critical. I wrote this one for my hunter but it works for every pet.
If you press alt while pressing this macro, your pet will attack the mob you're currently mousing over. If you press shift, your pet will be put on follow. Without any modifiers, it'll attack your target.
/petattack [modifier:alt, target=mouseover]
/petfollow [modifier:shift]
/petattack [nomodifier, target=target]

Setting the max camera distance
You shouldn't really have to macro this. But with this command, you can set the max camera distance further away, so you can zoom out more.
/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",30)

One-button rezzing
Having two buttons for essentially one action is meh. This macro will cast max-rank Rebirth if you're in combat, max-rank Revive when out of combat.
/cast [nocombat] Revive; Rebirth

Hunter
Non-breaking Steady Shots
I'll just let Lactose explain the reasons behind it here:
With the 3.0 patch, Auto Shot was unlinked from specials (most notably Steady Shot). However, this only functions correctly if, under Interface --> Combat, the flag Auto Attack/Auto Shot is set. If the flag is not set, Auto Shot is not correctly unlinked from specials, resulting in a drop in DPS.
This has its set of annoyances of its own. One of the most often referred to is the fact that using abilites when you don't have a target selected makes your character choose a target (nearest one), and attack it.
This can often cause unwanted pulls, or broken sheep, etc.
So what does it do?
If you do not have a target selected, Steady Shot will not fire. You will not attempt to attack a random target.
If you do have a target selected, you will attack it as per usual.
First Kill Shot is attempted, then Steady Shot. Finally, the errors are cleared.
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/stopmacro [target=target,noexists]
/stopmacro [target=target, noharm]
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/cast Kill Shot
/cast Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

Misdirection with Emote
This is a combination of the Priest Resurrection emote and the Priest Shackle focus features, see below.
Both Tanks and DPS like to know they're being Misdirected towards. If you target a helpful target, it'll be put under your focus. If you target something else, it'll cast Misdirection on your focus, if you have one. If you don't, it'll misdirect towards your pet.
#showtooltip Misdirection
/focus [help]
/stopmacro [help]
/cast [target=focus,exists] Misdirection; [target=pet,exists] Misdirection
/script SendChatMessage("Misdirects towards "..UnitName("focus")..".","EMOTE")

I copied this macro from EJ I think. It switches between dragonhawk and viper, something I do regularly in a battle.

Shackle with Focus
This was a must in Karazhan and will probably be so in Naxxramas. It clears your focus if your focus is dead or helpful, or if you pressed the shift key. Otherwise it will focus on your current target and Shackle it. Pressing it once again (while you have a focus on a non-dead, non-helpful target) will cast Shackle undead again. This enables you to re-Shackle undead without laboriously searching and re-targetting the undead, leaving more time and brainspace for healing/DPSing.
It can easily be modified for other forms of CC, like Sheeps and Hibernates and Scare Beast etc.
#showtooltip Shackle Undead
/clearfocus [modifier:shift]
/clearfocus [target=focus,dead]
/clearfocus [target=focus,help]
/focus [target=focus,noexists]
/cast [target=focus] Shackle Undead

One button Totems
A simple macro for putting down totems. You select the totems you want from each school (fire, air, earth and water) and only press a single button and they will all appear in the order you choose. What totem you want to use you just change the name in the sequence.
/castsequence reset=4 flametongue Totem, Mana Spring Totem, Grounding Totem, Strength of Earth Totem
Restoration Instant Heal
The OMG resto macro. Instantly heals the target by using Nature's Swiftness followed by Healing Wave.
/cast Nature's Swiftness
/cast Healing Wave
You can add to the macro the talent 'Tidal Force' to increase the chances of getting a critical heal. Then it would look like:
/cast Tidal Force
/cast Nature's Swiftness
/cast Healing Wave
Warrior
Protection: Retaliation & Recklessness
These 2 macro's are for stance dancing and using Retaliation or Recklessness. Remember that these abilities and Shield Wall are now all on a different cooldown and usable each 5 minutes. Recklessness can be dangerous to use (increase damage gained), and combining with a Shield Block can help (for getting less dmg and even higher Shield Slam crits), that's why it's in that macro.
Retaliation Macro
#showtooltip Retaliation
/cast [stance:1] Retaliation; Battle Stance
/cast Defensive Stance
Recklessness Macro
#showtooltip Recklessness
/cast Shield Block
/cast [stance:3] Recklessness; Berserker Stance
/cast Defensive Stance

Protection: Glyph of Revenge
When you have a Glyph of Revenge, you get a free Heroic Strike after each Revenge, so that's why this macro is useful then. the ! before the Heroic Strike makes sure that you don't turn it off if you already activated it.

/cast Revenge
/cast !Heroic Strike

Marking skull and setting as focus
The first macro sets your current target as your focus and marks is with the skull.
/focus
/script if IsPartyLeader() or IsRaidLeader() or IsRaidOfficer() then SetRaidTarget("target",8); end
The second one targets your focus (which is the skull if you did that one first). So you can quickly find the skull back.
/target focus

Paladin
Protection: Righteous Defense
This simple macro will let you quickly taunt the mob back to you should you lose the aggro. The Paladin taunt does not work with the enemy target but rather the one it is attacking, so this saves you the time finding the player the enemy is attacking and casting RD on him.
/cast [target=targettarget] Righteous Defense
